Paul E. Rana Sar Cour

Bro. Paul E. Rana – Enlarge

Memories cause a tsunami to invade my eyes. My throat seizes and bucks as it searches for a natural rhythm.

Many years ago, in late 2018 I believe, I attended a lecture by Worshipful Brother Paul E. Rana. His accomplishments and accolades were astounding and have become even more so. He spoke on many subjects that evening, Martinism being one of them. Throughout his lecture, he referred many times to enlightened giants of the past and associated their names and writings with silhouettes of the matching authors. That night Paul inspired me. Paul was without a doubt worthy of obtaining his own silhouette; worthy of being spoken of and shown in concert with those who had gone before him.

After his lecture, I was struck by his energy and lightning-bolt fast trajectory he was on to become truly great for generations to come.

I asked him to pose, and he obliged. We hadn’t yet built a creative report but it was clear we were kindred in our will to create. My vision was to create something that would last the test of time and one day be added to and spoken of in the same breath as Martinez de Pasqually, Louis Claude de Saint-Martin, and Jean-Baptiste Willermoz.

Over the years we worked on several creative projects with each other like the Golden YHVH Triangular plate.

Paul is no longer with us physically, but his reputation, character, and his life work will go on to feed the curiosity of many for a very long time.

I miss him so very much and my nose stings when I recollect our time spent together.

Here is a quick screen capture of the creation process.

If you are a publisher or just someone who knew Paul and need this image in a different format or prepared in a different way, let me know and I’ll be happy to make adjustments for you.
