Each piece is cast by hand of a non-metal heat resistant very tough material, then sanded and finally a very strong automotive adhesive disc, with an easy peel tab, is affixed to the back.

Backing Notes: Fossil Bluff automotive emblems use 3M Super Strong Automotive Attachment Tape that secures this emblem to the vehicle body with no mess and bonds very well to a variety of surfaces. Just peel and stick.
