It struck me one evening, as I was endlessly doom scrolling on Facebook, that I had blown right by two announcements of upcoming Masonic Degrees being conferred not far from me by two different Lodges.
I realized that the “text only” posts on social weren’t catching my attention and it made sense to me that others may be overlooking them as well.
Having a visual image to accompany your posts on social increases the chances of your notice getting seen. Having an image with your post also increases your distribution and feeds the robots and algorithms that choose what you see.
