Here is another Common Gavel that Bro. Uhrig is carrying to Scotland on behalf of Round Rock Masonic Lodge. The engraved text reads “To Our Scottish Brothers. From Round Rock Lodge and the Lone Star State of Texas” with “2013” being split in half at each end of the ribbon. The wood color variation between the head and handle is far more than the first one I had made…curious.
This project had a very short production schedule due to my lack of time and availability. I was lucky to be able to snap a photo of the gavel as it being whisked away on the front seat of Bro. Uhrig’s car.
